On The Catwalk: Rihanna To Debut Fashion Line During London Fashion Week

Yes, she does spend her free time doing something other than tweeting. Not long ago Rihanna announced a new clothing line for River Island. Well, it seems she’s ready to show off some of the goodies. She will debut her first-ever collection with the U.K. fashion retailer at London Fashion Week on February 16. The clothing will be on sale March 5. “I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time,” Rihanna said in a statement at the time. “River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family-run business also really appealed to me.” The Huffington Post describes the line as “Forever 21 except everything is $100.”

This isn’t Rihanna’s first dip in the fashion pool. She’s been the spokesperson for Armani’s lingerie and jean line, and created a few pieces for the label. If you’re a magazine subscriber, you’ve probably also started to see ads for her new perfume called Nude.
