The Copper Room

  •
  • Why?A tavern within a pub at Brass Monkey.

Sometimes a thing hidden inside another thing can be a real bummer — those Matryoshka dolls that turn out to be just a whole bunch of other smaller dolls. Other times, the surprise is a good one, like The Copper Room, a 1,400 square-foot pub within Brass Monkey, built from reclaimed copper and wood, salvaged parts from New England factories, and the mahogany bar formerly serving patrons at the Grand Ballroom in the old Puck Building. What’s happening there is good American refreshment, including local brews on tap and comfort food like lager-battered fish and chips, curried beef pies, and a three-cheese sandwich with tomato and basil.
